The competition serves as the national selection for participation in the national team. The champions are the top pilots from our regions, Hessen and Germany. The competition is open, with 40 international pilots permitted to compete. The cup is ideal for securing a spot in the world ranking list, positioned just ahead of the International Friendship Cup and the World Cup Finals.

Travel info
Airports
- Frankfurt Main (FRA), from there 1,5 hours by trains to Fulda or Gersfeld.
- Frankfurt Hahn (HHN): Travelling time to wasserkuppe is more than 3-4 hours! You have to book a long-distance-bus to Frankfurt Mainstation and then by trains to Fulda or Gersfeld.
- Other Airports in Germany are possible too (Nürnberg NUE, Hannover HAN) are only 1,5 hours away by train.
With car
- use the motorway A7 to „Fulda-Mitte“ and follow the signs to „Poppenhausen“ and „Wasserkuppe“. Navigation adress is „Wasserkuppe 46, 36129 Gersfeld“. Parking lots are available.
Pickup-Service
- There is a pickup-service available from Fulda (Mainstation) and Gersfeld. If you need a pickup-service, let us know!

- There are a lot of rooms, hotels and apartments available around Wasserkuppe. If you have any problems or questions with accomodation, let us know!
